Community Education
ALZHEIMER’S DISEASE AND DEMENTIA Awareness Training For your business, organization or community
As awareness of dementia grows, there is a new hope based on research and clinical success that people can slow down the progression and reverse cognitive decline with life style changes, therefore affording those who live with dementia the opportunity to live well.
Remembering Rose offers a FREE, 1-hour “Introduction to Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Dementias " program that will describe dementia, how to recognize it and how best to service and support those living with dementia so they can live their lives with dignity and respect in their workplace and community.
By helping individuals understand the experience of those living with dementia, learning effective communication strategies, and encouraging people to take small actions in their own lives to make a difference, we can start to de-stigmatize dementia and create a community where we support and offer services to those who live with dementia and to their families.
