Remembering Rose’s mission is to educate and to put resources in the hands of healthcare professionals, businesses and caregivers who provide care, products and services to those who are living with mild to severe cognitive impairment, ensuring they live a life filled with dignity and respect.

We provide positive, interactive and engaging curriculm through our workshop’s, trainings and seminars which are offered live or in person. We deliver current dementia care education through a curriculm that is tailored toward our audience.

Our Alzheimer’s Disease Dementia Care Seminar (ADDC), is a required seminar for those healthcare professionals pursuing a Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP) credential and the First Responder Dementia Course(FRDC) for those pursuing the Certified First Responder-Dementia Trained credential ( CFR-DT) through the National Council of Certified Practioners, (NCCDP), the Global Leader in dementia education and dementia certification.

Our desire is tode-stigmatize improve the quality of all care and services offered to those with dementia. We do this through in-service workshops, educational programs, seminars and consultations. We deliver current dementia care education through a curriculm that is tailored toward our audience.

  • BECOME A CERTIFIED DEMENTIA CARE PRACTIONER (CDP) BECOME A CERTIFIED FIRST RESPONDER-DEMENTIA TRAINED (cfr-dt)

    Take the path to certification as a CDP or as a CFR-DT with the Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia Care Seminar. The ADDC Seminar is one of the requirements for individuals pursing their CDP or CFR-DT certification in order to qualify through the NCCDP.     Our goal is to to encourage a dementia-capable workforce and build dementia-friendly communities through our interactive, engaging trainings, in-service workshops and seminars.

    Our curriculm will be customized to meet the needs of those who care and support people living with dementia in order to o empower them with the necessary tools and information needed to make sure all who live with this disease can live well with respect and dignity.

  • Dementia Care Consultations

    Individuals, families, care partners, businesses, organizations and communities who want to learn more about dementia and Alzheimer’s disease can contact us through our email to have questions answered, to receive information and resources, to set up an appointment for a consultation or an informational presentation. We offer vitual or in person Alzheimer’s disease and dementia care education, workshops, and information sessions that are tailored to meet your needs.

  • Community Support Services

    People with an early diagnosis of dementia can slow down the progression with new therapies, medicines, and lifestyle changes. They can stay active and healthy and keep doing things they enjoy. Businesses, organizations, churches, first responders, and neighbors look to align their efforts, ensuring that everyone, regardless of their abilities, can utilize the information and resources in their communities and live well!

    Remembering Rose offers resources, educational training, and workshops to all businesses, organizations, and support services in the community that want to become dementia aware as they provided services, support, and information to those who are living their best life with dementia.

Remembering Rose founder, Patty Flott has a BA from Mount Saint Mary’s University where she studied Psychology, Sociology, and Social Welfare.

She founded, Anitas Angels, Inc., a residential eldercare care business, employing and training nurses, nursing assistants, and companion care aids to take care of the elderly in their homes. She worked as a Director for Sales and Marketing for the Residence on Greenbelt.

She has been an Alzheimer’s Association volunteer since 2006, working closely with the association to raise money for a cure and on Capitol Hill, promoting legislation that has created an infrastructure that will support healthcare professionals, communities, individuals, family, and care partners.

Patty started Remembering Rose, Dementia Care Education, to expedite the delivery of Alzheimer’s disease and dementia care education, to ensure that caregivers, staff (all those supporting the health care industry), communities, families, and individuals are well trained to provide appropriate, competent, and compassionate direct care and support for those that need it the most.

She is certified through the National Council for Certified Dementia Practitioners (NCCDP), as a Certified Dementia Practioner(CDP), Certified Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia Care Trainer (CADDCT), Certified Dementia Care Support Group Facilitator( CDCSGF), and as a Certified First Responder Dementia Trainer(CFR-DT). She is also certified as a Certified Montessori Dementia Care Professional (CMDCP ) through the International Council of Certified Montessori Dementia Professionals.

Patty’s passion is to deliver current dementia care education through a positive, interactive, and engaging curriculum that is tailored toward her audience. Her one mission is to bring dementia awareness and education to medical professionals, individuals, and communities so that people living with dementia will have a feeling of belonging, a sense of purpose, and a shared belief that all people with dementia will have their needs met with respect and dignity.
